Performance Project

Image
My performance project was inspired by childhood. It involves me cleaning and organizing a room and subsequently making a mess again. A combination of pointless tasks is an example of the point of view of children. I came up with this after I heard my younger brother ask my mom why he had to make his bed if he was just going to sleep in it again.

Printer Project

This is based off of the Andy Warhol painting of Elvis. It's made out of many 8.5x11in printer paper connected together.

Grid Project

Image
My grid project is a painting of Mickey Mouse by Andy Warhol. It is acrylic paint on canvas. I used a round paint stamp to stamp each "pixel" with red, black, or beige paint. Originally I was going to do a picture of Weezer's first album cover, but I saw an ad for Mickey Mouse's 90th Birthday Party and they mentioned that Andy Warhol had done a painting of Mickey. I Google image searched "Andy Warhol Mickey Mouse" and sure enough this picture came up.
